Most racing wheel makers buy their rims from people that make car rims, or farm equipment rims & when your tire falls off you lose the tire, many times the rim, and some times the car, plus you’re in the pits, & not on the track. Oval, circle, rounderound DIRT racers crash on a regular basis because tires fall off of cheap inferior wheels. Because your tire hits a rough place on the track you have a flat. What most people don't understand is that automotive D.O.T. rims have about .030 in. of tolerance in rim diameter specifications, but often vary .060 to .080 in. diameter. The tolerances are inconsistent. And they are not designed to run the lower air pressure that some racers use. So when you buy one of these ASSEMBLY LINE WHEELS, you're buying "TROUBLE". Now you mount up a new tire & the first time you race it, the tire pops off the wheel, & so now you buy another new tire so you can run the feature. MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING
Tire changing should done by trained personnel using proper tools and procedures. Failure to follow safe mounting procedures could cause faulty positioning of the tire and cause the assembly to burst with explosive force sufficient to cause serious personal injury or death. Clean rim and lubricate beads with rubber lubricant. Always lock rim on mounting machine or place assembly in safety cage. Use air hose with clip on chuck and extension air gauge.
